Shiza of love

Parenting is a gift of love

What and where the parent word came from?

Parents is a central concept in Society and the word parent derived from middle english parent, borrowed from Anglo-Norman parent, Middle French parent, from Latin parentem, accusative of parēns (“parent”), present participle of parere (“to breed, bring forth”) .

So What’s Parenting Philosophy

I think refers to the set of beliefs and values that guide a parent’s approach to raising their children. There are several different parenting philosophies, and each emphasizes different aspects of child-rearing. Some common parenting philosophies include:

Authoritarian parenting: This approach is characterized by strict rules and high expectations, with punishment being the primary method of discipline. The parent is seen as the authority figure, and children are expected to obey without question.

Permissive parenting: This approach is characterized by a lack of rules and boundaries, with parents taking a hands-off approach to discipline. The parent is seen as a friend rather than an authority figure, and children are given a lot of freedom to make their own choices.

Attachment parenting: This approach emphasizes the importance of building a strong emotional bond between parent and child. Parents are encouraged to be highly responsive to their child's needs, and to practice techniques such as babywearing and co-sleeping to promote closeness.

Positive parenting: This approach emphasizes the importance of building a positive relationship between parent and child. Parents are encouraged to focus on positive reinforcement, and to use techniques such as active listening and problem-solving to build a strong bond with their children.

My experiences suggested Nurturing babies is a spiritual process

Nurturing babies can certainly be a spiritual process, as it involves the development of a deep bond between the caregiver and the child. Many people find that caring for a baby brings them a sense of connection, purpose, and meaning that transcends the purely physical aspects of the task. In many spiritual traditions, the act of nurturing others is considered to be a sacred practice. It is seen as a way of expressing love, compassion, and kindness towards others, and of connecting with the divine nature of all beings. When caring for a baby, there are many opportunities to practice mindfulness, compassion, and other spiritual qualities. For example, one can cultivate a sense of presence and awareness while feeding, bathing, or playing with the baby, and can develop a deep sense of empathy and understanding for the child’s needs and emotions.

How to teach babies to be calm and relax?

Teaching babies to be calm and relaxed can help them develop a sense of emotional regulation and self-soothing skills that can benefit them throughout their lives. Here are some tips to help you teach your baby to be calm and relaxed:

Create a soothing environment: Babies are often comforted by a calm and quiet environment. Try to create a soothing environment by dimming the lights, playing soft music, and minimizing distractions.

Provide comfort: Hold your baby close and provide them with comfort, such as a pacifier, soft blanket, or gentle rocking. This can help them feel safe and secure.

Establish a routine: Babies thrive on routine, and a consistent routine can help them feel more relaxed and secure. Establish a consistent bedtime routine that includes calming activities, such as a warm bath or gentle massage.

Breathing exercises: You can help your baby learn to regulate their breathing by practicing deep breathing exercises together. Take deep breaths and exhale slowly, and encourage your baby to mimic your breathing.

Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness techniques can help babies and parents alike feel more calm and relaxed. You can practice mindfulness by focusing on the present moment, breathing deeply, and being fully present with your baby.

Remember, babies learn by example, so it's important to model calm and relaxed behavior yourself. By creating a peaceful environment and using calming techniques, you can help your baby develop a sense of emotional regulation and self-soothing skills.

Currently I’m going through my learning and experiences. I believe Babies are born with unique temperaments and personalities that may be influenced by their genetic makeup. As they grow and develop, they are also shaped by their experiences and interactions with the world around them. This includes the culture and social environment in which they are raised, as well as their interactions with family members, caregivers, and other individuals. It’s important for parents to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for their child, while also recognizing and respecting their child’s unique temperament and individuality.

This is the way
